Mission:
The mission of the Dukes Sheriff's Office is to operate a safe, secure, rehabiliative correctional facility, regional jail and lockup for 8 law enforcement agencies, a regionalized E911 communication center for 65 public safety and service agencies, Civil Process office and drug prevention education in public schools on Martha's Vineyard. The Sherriff's Office works with local and state agencies through specialized services. The professional men and women of the Dukes County Sheriff's Office consistently strive to improve the quality of life in our community.
