Mission:
The Department of Elder Affairs promotes the independence and well-being of individuals, their families, and caregivers through the development and delivery of quality services; provides consumers with access to a full array of health and social support services in the settings of their choice; informs consumers about all their long term options, and elder protective and advocacy services; and encourages individuals across the lifespan to adopt behaviors that will lead to healthy aging.Governing Laws:
