2810-2041 | Department of Conservation and Recreation Retained Revenue The department of conservation and recreation may expend not more than $8,489,419 from fees, licenses and rents charged by the department for additional expenses, upkeep and improvements to facilities and properties under the care and custody of the department; provided, that no funds from this item shall be expended for the costs of full-time equivalent personnel; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the division may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
