    5920-2000 Community Residential Services
    For vendor-operated, community-based residential adult services, including intensive individual supports; provided, that annualized funding shall be expended for turning 22 clients who began receiving the services in fiscal year 2018 under item 5920-5000 of section 2 of chapter 47 of the acts of 2017; provided further that the department shall report to the house and senate committees and ways and means not later than October 24, 2018 detailing the use of shared living services in the commonwealth, which shall include, but not be limited to the: (a) number of clients living in shared living placements, broken down by age and location; (b) average cost of shared living services; (c) number of clients living in a shared living placement with individuals they knew prior to the arrangement; (d) department's oversight of the application and placement process; (e) safeguards in place for clients receiving these services; and (f) potential for growth of the program; provided further, that the commissioner of developmental services may transfer funds from this item to item 5920-2010, as necessary, under an allocation plan which shall detail, by object class, the distribution of the funds to be transferred and which shall be filed with the house and senate committees on ways and means not less than 30 days before any such transfer; and provided further, that not more than $5,000,000 shall be transferred from this item in fiscal year 2019
