5911-1003 | DDS Service Coordination and Administration For the administration and operation of the department of developmental services; provided, that the department shall not charge user fees for transportation or community day services; provided further, that the department shall issue a report to the house and senate committees on ways and means not later than February 22, 2019 detailing: (a) significant expense increases incurred by the department; (b) measures implemented by the department to reduce costs; and (c) improved outcomes in programs and services funded by the department; provided further, that the department shall not charge fees for eligibility determination for services provided by the department or for applications or requests for transfer of guardianship; provided further, that not less than $175,000 shall be expended for the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress, Inc; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Massachusetts memorial medical center and the University of Massachusetts medical school based on the patient-centered medical home concept; and provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be allocated as mitigation amongst the cities and towns hosting a developmental center, referred to as a "state school" under chapter 19B of the General Laws |
