| 2511-0105 | Emergency Food Assistance For the purchase of supplemental foods for the emergency food assistance program within the Feeding America nationally-certified food bank system; provided, that the funds appropriated in this item shall reflect the Feeding America allocation formula in order to benefit the commonwealth's 4 regional food banks; provided further, that the department may assess an administrative charge not to exceed 2 per cent of the total appropriation in this item; provided further, that $1,000,000 shall be expended for operating funds to distribute food for the Massachusetts emergency food assistance program; provided further, that not less than $30,000 shall be expended for Acton Community Supper and Food Pantry, Inc. in the town of Acton; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for Margaret Fuller House in the city of Cambridge for improvements to its food pantry; provided further, that not less than $85,000 shall be expended for the Cambridge Weekend Backpack Program; provided further, that not less than $120,000 shall be expended for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, Inc., in Devens; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Food for the World, Inc.; provided further, that $25,000 shall be expended for the Open Door/Cape Ann Food Pantry, Inc.'s Food Rescue and Composting Program in the city of Gloucester; and provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Lovin' Spoonful Food Rescue |
