0940-0101 | Fees and Federal Reimbursement Retained Revenue For the Massachusetts commission against discrimination, which may expend not more than $3,500,000 in revenues from fees and federal reimbursements received for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development fair housing programs and the United States Equal Employment Opportunity programs during fiscal year 2019 and for federal reimbursements received for these and other programs in prior fiscal years; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commission may also expend revenues generated through the collection of fees and costs so authorized; and provided further, that for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the commission may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
