8910-0160 | Reimbursement from Housing Federal Inmates Retained Revenue For a retained revenue account for the Middlesex sheriff's office for reimbursements from the federal government for costs associated with the incarceration of federal inmates at the Billerica house of correction; provided, that the office may expend for the operation of the office an amount not to exceed $850,000 from revenues collected from the incarceration of federal inmates; and provided further, that, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the office may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
