4000-0328 | State Plan Amendment Support For the executive office of health and human services, which shall use the funding in this item to pursue and submit applications for new state plan amendments, state plan options and state waiver or demonstration requests for federal approval under Public Law 111-148, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, including but not limited to the following purposes: (i) the health homes state option authorized under 42 U.S.C. 1396w-4; and (ii) the 1915(i) home and community-based services state plan authorized under 42 U.S.C. 1396n(i); provided, that the executive office shall seek to maximize opportunities that expand community-based services and increase federal reimbursement, including enhanced federal medical assistance percentage rates; and provided further, that the executive office shall report not later than September 30, 2015 to the house and senate committees on ways and means on the status of submitted and pending applications and the projected fiscal impact to the commonwealth of federal approval for these applications |
