Programs targeted to offer financial subsidies for food purchases, nutrition education and awareness opportunities, and home delivered and congregate meals to eligible individuals.

Description |

Elder Nutritional Services | For the purpose of remediating poor diets, health problems, food insecurity, and loneliness for elders. Nutrition services include nourishing meals, nutrition screening, assessment, education, and counseling to ensure that older people achieve and maintain optimal nutritional status. |
Emergency Food Assistance | For the purpose of providing food at no cost to low-income Massachusetts residents in need of short-term hunger relief. |
Family Nutritional Assistance | For the purpose of improving the nutrition and health of low/moderate-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children under age five, by providing access to health care, nutrition education, nutritional cash benefits, counseling, and nutritious foods. |
