| 4510-2500 | Health Promotion, Violence Prevention and Workforce Expansion For the operation and administration of health promotion, disease prevention, violence prevention and workforce expansion programs; provided, that programs and services funded in this item shall include health education services, community health center services, a center for primary care recruitment and placement, a statewide sexual assault nurse examiner program and pediatric sexual assault nurse examiner program, dental services including dental services for the developmentally disabled, a comprehensive, statewide shaken baby syndrome prevention program, domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and treatment including rape prevention and victim services, teenage pregnancy prevention services in highest teen birth rate communities, school health services and school-based health centers in public and non-public schools, an evidence-based outreach and education program designed to provide information and education on the therapeutic and cost-effective utilization of prescription drugs, family health services and an end of life care commission; provided further, that a competitive grant program may be administered by the department of public health to support the establishment of a comprehensive youth violence prevention program; and provided further, that funds shall be expended for matching grants to boys and girls clubs, YMCAs and YWCA organizations, non-profit community centers, and youth development programs
