Mission:
The Massachusetts Office for refugees and Immigrants (ORI) is primarily funded through federal grants (Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)). The agency's primary responsibility is to administer the Massachusetts refugee resettlement program, which includes refugee cash and medical assistance, case management, employment services, English language for employment training, and foster care for unaccompanied minors. ORI also administers a small state funded citizenship assistance program.Governing Laws:
