SECTION 187.
Section 13A of chapter 463 of the acts of 2004, inserted by chapter 95 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- Employees of the district shall become members of the city of Salem contributory retirement system, except an employee who is employed by the district as a teacher, as defined in section 1 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, shall be members of the Massachusetts teachers retirement system under said chapter 32.
