4000-0890 | MassHealth Premium Assistance and Insurance Partnership For the cost of health insurance subsidies paid to employees and employers of small businesses in the insurance reimbursement program under section 9C of chapter 118E of the General Laws; provided, that funds may be expended from this item for health care services provided to those persons in prior fiscal years; provided further, that effective January 1, 2014, funds may be expended for a pilot program for MassHealth to provide health insurance premium assistance for eligible individuals who work for small employers, who are ineligible for subsidized insurance through the commonwealth health insurance connector and ineligible for any other program in MassHealth; and provided further, that enrollment in such a pilot program may be capped to ensure that MassHealth expenditures do not exceed the amount appropriated herein |
