| 1775-0200 | Supplier Diversity Office                                                        For the operation and administration of the supplier diversity office; provided, that the office shall provide training and other services to supplier diversity office certified minority- and women-owned businesses, which allows those businesses to better compete for state contracts and also ensures that equitable practices and policies in the public marketplace are maintained; provided further, that the office shall administer an electronic business certification application which shall be accessible to business applicants through the internet; provided further, that the office shall ensure the integrity and security of personal and financial information transmitted by electronic application; provided further, that the office shall provide certification services to all supplier diversity office qualified applicants, within or outside of the commonwealth, as applicable; and provided further, that the office shall develop and implement measures and procedures to continue to improve the efficiency and the timeliness of the certification process  |
