For the operation of the executive office of labor and workforce development; provided, that not later than January 3, 2013, the executive office of labor and workforce development shall submit to the house and senate committees on ways and means and the joint committee on labor and workforce development a report describing the job training services, including labor exchange, skills training and remedial education services related thereto which have been provided during the course of the fiscal year, systems for delivery, and the costs and the sources of revenue for such services; provided further, that the executive office shall expend not less than $100,000 to produce a study of state and regional labor market conditions that shall include but not be limited to producing a list of the industry areas with the greatest numbers of job vacancies and a list of the professions projected to have the greatest number of vacancies over the next 3 years; and provided further, that the executive office of labor and workforce development shall make this study publicly available on its website and distribute it to the community colleges not later than December 31, 2012 |
