Plan for Haitian Students
SECTION 164.
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of elementary and secondary education shall develop a plan for any city or town that has enrolled more than 25 students displaced by an earthquake since January 2010. The plan shall include, but not be limited to, the per pupil cost and the per pupil cost of counseling and interpretive services and shall be submitted, together with a draft of legislation necessary to implement these recommendations, if any, to the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate, the house and senate committees on ways and means and the joint committee on education not later than December 31, 2010.
