| 1775-0600 | Surplus Sales Retained Revenue For the operational services division; provided, that the division may expend not more than $805,000 in revenues from the sale of state and federal surplus personal property and the disposal of surplus motor vehicles, including, but not limited to, state police vehicles from vehicle accident and damage claims and from manufacturer warranties, rebates and settlements for the payment, expenses and liabilities for the acquisition, warehousing, allocation and distribution of surplus property and the purchase of motor vehicles; provided further, that the division shall evaluate the use of technology, the internet and online auctions to enhance the sales of surplus vehicles and submit a report of its findings to the house and senate committees on ways and means and the house and senate committees on post audit and oversight on or before October 1, 2010; and provided further, that for the purpose of accommodating discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the operational services division may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system, including the costs of personnel |
