Mission:
The Executive Office of Elder Affairs (ELD) promotes the independence, empowerment, and well-being of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers. The Home Care Program provides HCBS services to over 45,000 elders on a monthly basis. The Prescription Advantage Program provides out-of-pocket cost relief for prescription drugs to 43,000 consumers. Protective Services reviews and investigates over 25,000 reports of elder abuse, annually. Council on Aging grants provide support to in 349 municipalities, supporting local Council on Aging services and programs available to over 1.2 million elders across the Commonwealth.
