1232-0200 Underground Storage Tank Administrative Review Board

For the Underground Storage Tank Petroleum Cleanup Fund Administrative Review Board established in section 8 of chapter 21J of the General Laws and for the administration of the underground storage tank program associated with the implementation of said chapter 21J; provided, that notwithstanding section 4 of said chapter 21J or any other general or special law to the contrary, appropriations made from this item shall be sufficient to cover the administrative expenses of the underground storage tank program; and provided further, that not later than February 27, 2026, the board shall submit a report to the house and senate committees on ways and means on the status of the underground storage tank program including, but not limited to, the: (i) number of municipal grants made for the removal and replacement of underground storage tanks; (ii) reimbursements for remediated petroleum spills; (iii) number of backlog claims; (iv) average waiting period for claims granted in the past year; and (v) number of tanks not in compliance with said chapter 21J
