7010-0033 English Language and Literacy Programs

For a literacy and early literacy grant program; provided, that not less than $600,000 shall be expended for Reading Recovery; provided further, that not less than $440,000 shall be expended for Momenta, formerly the Bay State Reading Institute; provided further, that programs receiving funding through this item shall provide ongoing evaluation and documentation of outcomes to the department of elementary and secondary education; provided further, that evaluations shall be compared to measurable goals and benchmarks developed by the department; and provided further, that funds provided to Momenta, may be expended through June 30, 2022
