Section 41 Driver's License Non-Renewals 13

          Said section 20H of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 5, 6 and 14, each time it appears, the word "authority" and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following word:- department.

This section, together with related sections, eliminates the practice of imposing driver's license non-renewals and motor vehicle registration non-renewals for certain unpaid debts and provides for an alternative enforcement mechanism.
