Section 34 Driver's License Non-Renewals 6

          Section 20A½ of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 42 to 44, inclusive, the words "Failure to obey this notice within twenty-one days after the date of violation may result in the non-renewal of the license to drive and the registration of the registered owner.".

This section, together with related sections, eliminates the practice of imposing driver's license non-renewals and motor vehicle registration non-renewals for certain unpaid debts and provides for an alternative enforcement mechanism.
