4510-0615 Nuclear Power Reactor Monitoring Fee Retained Revenue

For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $2,300,888 from fees collected from licensing and inspecting users of radioactive material within the commonwealth under licenses presently issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission; provided, that the retained revenues may be used for the costs of both programs, including the compensation of employees; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system
