Section 87 Disaster Relief and Resiliency Fund Report
Not more than 180 days after the effective date of this act, the secretary of administration and finance shall submit to the joint chairs of the committee on emergency preparedness and management, the joint chairs of the joint committee on the environment and natural resources, the joint chairs of the committee on agriculture, the joint chairs of the committee on and the chair of the senate committee on global warming and climate change a comprehensive report outlining the implementation of the Disaster Relief and Resiliency Fund established in section 2GGGGGG of chapter 29 of the General Laws, including: (i) an overview of the process for programs developed or supported by the fund, including, but not limited to, (A) the thresholds and eligibility criteria for qualifying events and applicants for relief; and (B) the application submission and approval process; (ii) statutory or regulatory changes necessary to allow timely expenditures of funds in cases of emergency, and (iii) the executive office's needs to effectively implement the program or programs.
