Section 51 Definitions of Electric Bicycles 2

Said section 1 of said chapter 90, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the definition of "electric bicycle" and inserting in place thereof the following definition:-
"Electric bicycle", a bicycle or tricycle equipped with fully operable pedals and an electric motor of 750 watts or less that meets the requirements of a class 1 electric bicycle, a class 2 electric bicycle, or a class 3 electric bicycle.

This section, along with the relevant section, updates the definition of electric bicycles to align with the federal Class 3 definition.
