Eliminating Copays for CMSP and CHIPS Effective Date

Sections 59 and 61 shall take effect upon the earlier of: (i) the receipt of all necessary federal approvals, including state plan and 1115 demonstration amendments or (ii) January 1, 2025.

Summary

This section sets an effective date for removing the statutory requirement to charge copays to Children's Medical Security Program members and cost-sharing to children who participate in the Children's Health Insurance Program.
