Section 57 TNC Data Collection 3

Subsection (e) of section 8 of said chapter 159A½, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 48, after the words "chapter 66", the following words:- ; provided, however, that the division may post or share anonymized and aggregated data in the manner provided in section 12.

This section, along with three others, empowers DPU to obtain more specific categories of ride data from Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) in order to assist planning agencies and other state and local entities with transportation planning, congestion management, and vehicle emissions tracking.
