Section 96 Major Roadways Transfer 2

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 35 of chapter 92 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the department of conservation and recreation shall transfer the care, custody and control of the following parkways to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to be held for the same purposes: Storrow drive in the city of Boston, Morrissey boulevard in the city of Boston, Soldiers Field road in the city of Boston and Day boulevard in the city of Boston.

This section, along with one other, transfers care and custody of certain major parkways, specifically Morrissey Boulevard, Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, and Day Boulevard from the Department of Conservation and Recreation to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
