Section 5 EOHHS Commissioner Terms

Section 16 of chapter 6A of the General Laws, as amended by section 4 of chapter 154 of the acts of 2018, is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:- Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all commissioners appointed by the secretary of health and human services shall serve at the pleasure of the secretary and may be removed by the secretary at any time, subject to the approval of the governor.

This section aligns the terms of all Commissioners appointed by the Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
