E094 ResilientMA Initiative

Would fund the Baker-Polito Administration's proposal, currently pending before the legislature, to help the Commonwealth and its municipalities protect residents, communities, the economy, and infrastructure from adverse effects of climate change. Resilient infrastructure will help make our communities safer, keep vital services online, and reduce the long-term costs of climate-related risks and disaster recovery. If the legislation is effective by the proposed date of January 1, 2020, $75 M would be available in Fiscal Year 2020 for these investments.
