Section 46 Senior Care Options Enrollment

Subsection (b) of section 9D of chapter 118E of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence:- For purposes of this section, an individual is deemed to reach the age of 65 on the first day of the month in which the individual's 65th birthday occurs.

This section enables Senior Care Option members to enroll on the first day of the month in which they turn 65.
