| 0330-0612 | Substance Abuse Model For the implementation and administration of a sequential intercept model project to better serve individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders involved in the criminal justice system; provided, that the trial court shall hire a project coordinator to oversee coordination, administration and financial oversight of the sequential intercept model project; and provided further, that not later than July 1, 2019, the project coordinator shall prepare and submit a report to the house and senate committees on ways and means that shall include, but not be limited to: (i) the design of the sequential intercept model mappings; (ii) the locations of workshops held to advocate for the model; (iii) the number of cases in which the model has been utilized; (iv) the initial impact of the model on rehabilitation and recidivism; and (v) the cost savings associated with the model |
