4590-0917 | Shattuck Hospital Department of Correction Inmate RR For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $4,552,181 from payments received from the vendor managing health services for state correctional facilities for inmate medical services provided by the Lemuel Shattuck hospital; provided, that the payments may include capitation payments, fee for service payments, advance payments and other compensation arrangements established by contract between the vendor and the hospital; provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
