Vaccine Purchase Trust Fund

SECTION 21.   Subsection (b) of section 24N of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as inserted by section 1 of chapter 28 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by inserting after the fifth sentence the following sentence:-
The department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts in anticipation of the most recent estimate of expected receipts, as certified by the Secretary of Administration and Finance; provided, however, that no expenditure shall be made from the fund which shall cause the fund to be in deficit at the close of a fiscal year.
 
 

Summary:
This section adds a sentence allowing DPH to spend in anticipation of revenues out of the Vaccine Purchase Trust Fund, which was enacted last year in chapter 28 of the acts of 2014.
