1775-0600 | Surplus Sales Retained Revenue The operational services division may expend for costs associated with the acquisition, warehousing, allocation and distribution of state surplus personal property and for the purchase of motor vehicles and associated administrative and personnel costs an amount not to exceed $750,000 from revenues collected from the sale of that property and surplus motor vehicles including, but not limited to, state police vehicles and vehicles from manufacturer warranties, rebates and settlements; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the division may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate, as reported in the state accounting system |
