1102-3309 | Bureau of the State House For the maintenance and operation of the state house under the jurisdiction of the state house superintendent and the legislature's joint committee on rules; provided, that the superintendent is charged with overseeing maintenance, repairs, and renovation of the state house in conjunction with the division of capital asset management to meet the needs as appropriate of all tenants of the building including the office of the governor, constitutional officers and others; provided further, that it is the charge of the superintendent to insure that appropriate and reasonable access for all persons with disabilities is provided, including communication access for the deaf and hard of hearing; provided further, that the superintendent will access other services from the division of capital asset management for the smooth functioning of the state house, including assistance in implementing the state house design guidelines; and provided further, that the superintendent will also oversee the state house art commission |
