SECTION 53.
Subsection (b) of said section 110 of said chapter 5, as amended by section 123 of chapter 133 of the acts of 2016, is hereby further amended by striking out the words "Subject to federal approval of a waiver, a family shall be eligible for assistance provided its maximum allowable countable resources do not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- A family shall be eligible for assistance provided its maximum allowable countable resources do not exceed $5,000.
