| 7061-9011 | Innovation Schools For competitive grants to school districts for the planning, implementation and enhancement of Innovation Schools as defined in section 92 of chapter 71 of the General Laws; provided, that in the case of planning grants, applicants shall have received approval of the Innovation School prospectus from the screening committee established under subsection (h) of said section 92 of said chapter 71; provided further, that in the case of implementation grants, the applicant shall have received final approval of the Innovation School from the local school committee; provided further, that an Innovation School seeking to enhance its Innovation School plan shall have demonstrated that the program is meeting the school's measureable annual goals and shall have a compelling plan for enhancing its Innovation School plan; provided further, that priority shall be given to schools proposed in level 3 and level 4 districts; and provided further, that no funds from this item shall be expended for administrative costs of the department |
