For a youth-at-risk program targeted at reducing juvenile delinquency in high-risk areas; provided, that these funds may be expended for the development and implementation of a year-round employment program for youth-at-risk and existing year-round employment programs; provided further, that $500,000 of these funds shall be matched by private organizations; provided further, that not less than $50,000 be expended for the development and implementation of the Open Door's On Your Mark program; provided further, that not less than $25,000 be expended for The People's Academy Inc.; provided further, that not less than $25,000 be allocated to the Methuen/Lawrence Coalition; provided further, that not less than $25,000 be allocated to the Bird Street Community Center; provided further, that not less than $25,000 be expended on the Dorchester Youth Collaborative; provided further, that not less than $25,000 be expended on Cape Verdean Cultural Center Feasibility Commission; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for a grant to the Hyde Square Task Force; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for a grant to the Union of Minority Neighborhoods; provided further, that no less than $150,000 shall be expended for a grant program to St. Mary's Center in Dorchester for the operation of workforce development and educational programming for women and girls, and provided further, that funds shall be available for expenditure through September 1, 2018, prior appropriation continued |
