SECTION 35.
Section 1 of chapter 15A of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentence:- The board of higher education shall provide orientation, professional development and support for the boards of trustees in areas including, but not limited to, system-level initiatives, trustee accountability, recruitment and board responsibilities.
