4512-0103 | HIV/AIDS Prevention Treatment and Services For human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immune deficiency syndrome services and programs and related services for persons affected by the associated conditions of viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections; provided, that funding shall be provided proportionately to each of the demographic groups afflicted by HIV/AIDS and associated conditions; provided further, that not less than $120,000 shall be expended to conduct a hepatitis C pilot program at the North Shore Health Project, Inc.; provided further, that in compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Public Law 111-148, the department of public health shall ensure that vendors delivering HIV/AIDS community testing and screening shall seek third party reimbursement for these services; and provided further, that no funds from this item shall be expended for disease research in fiscal year 2016 |
