2330-0121 | Marine Recreational Fishing Fee Retained Revenue For the division of marine fisheries to utilize reimbursable federal sportfish restoration funds to further develop marine recreational fishing and related programs, including the costs of activities that increase public access for marine recreational fishing, support research on artificial reefs and otherwise provide for the development of marine recreational fishing; provided, that the division of marine fisheries may expend not more than $217,989 in revenues collected from federal Sport Fish Restoration Program funds and from the sale of materials which promote marine recreational fishing; and provided further, that for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the division may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
