4590-0901 | Chargeback for Consolidated Public Health Hospitals For the costs of medical services provided at department of public health hospitals under a schedule of services and fees approved by the commissioner of public health, which may be expended for the purposes of hospital related costs, including, but not limited to, capital repair and the maintenance and motor vehicle replacement; provided, that for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system
