SECTION 27.
Section 101 of said chapter 32, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 8, the words "six thousand dollars" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- either $6,000 or, in a retirement system accepting the supplemental annual allowance as provided in this section, $9,000.
