| 8000-0106 | State Police Crime Laboratory For the operation and related costs of the state police crime laboratory; provided, that the analysis of narcotic drug synthetic substitutes, poisons, drugs, medicines, and chemicals shall be funded in this item in order to support the law enforcement efforts of the district attorneys, the state police and municipal police departments; provided further, that the practices and procedures of the state police crime laboratory shall be informed by the recommendations of the Forensic Sciences Advisory Board; and provided further, that the agency shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means and the joint committee on public safety and homeland security not later than December 31, 2010, concerning, but not limited to, the number of cases introduced to the CODIS database, the number of confirmations attained from the CODIS database, and the number of cases referred to a district attorney delineated by county FMAP Budget Relief Fund 1.398% |
