8000-0122 | Chief Medical Examiner Fee Retained Revenue The office of the chief medical examiner may expend for its operations an amount not to exceed $1,300,000 in revenues collected from fees for services provided by the chief medical examiner; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, for the purposes of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the agency may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system |
