4512-0500 Dental Health Services
For dental health services; provided, that no funds shall be expended in the AA object class for any personnel-related costs; provided further, that, of the amount appropriated in this item, funds shall be expended to maintain a program of dental services for the developmentally disabled; provided further, that not less than $122,000 shall be allotted to the Taunton Oral Health Clinic in the city of Taunton for the basic dental needs of moderate and low-income residents of southeastern Massachusetts; provided further, that the department shall submit to the house and senate committees on ways and means a quarterly report on the number of children served by this dental health services program and the number of children waiting to be served by the program; provided further, that not less than $90,000 shall be expended to Harbor Health Services, Inc. for support and implementation of a model dental program that provides comprehensive dental care for low-income uninsured adults throughout Cape Cod; and provided further, that not less than $750,000 shall be expended for the Forsyth Institute's Center for Children's Oral Health to fund a school-based demonstration project to offer preventative oral health care to children in high need areas including Boston, Lynn, and the Cape and Islands
