2820-2000 Parkways Snow and Ice
For the expenses of maintaining the parkways within the division of urban parks and recreation, including the costs of personnel and snow and ice removal expenses; provided, that the department of conservation and recreation shall take all measures to ensure that the department's snow and ice control efforts are efficient and cost effective; provided further, that the secretary of environmental affairs shall submit to the house and senate committees on post audit and oversight and the house and senate committees on ways and means a report detailing a snow emergency plan for roads, bridges and sidewalks under the care of the department of conservation and recreation by January 14, 2008; and provided further, that the secretary of environmental affairs shall submit to the house and senate committees on post audit and oversight and the house and senate committees on ways and means a report not later than September 1, 2007 which shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) a list of amounts paid from state appropriations for snow and ice control efforts for fiscal years 2006 and 2007 and (b) any other information that said secretary determines is necessary to account for and explain the extraordinary expenditure of state appropriations for the control and removal of snow and ice
