2800-0700 Office of Dam Safety
For the office of dam safety; provided, that the department shall, in collaboration with the department of environmental protection and the department of fish and game, establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all dams in Massachusetts, and develop a coordinated permitting and regulatory approach to dam removal for stream restoration and public safety; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for repairs to Manns Pond Dam in Sharon; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for a study of the pumping capacity of the Amelia Earhart Dam on the Mystic River; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for the repairs of the dam in the town of Millbury; and provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for the dam on the Squannacook River known as the Squannacook Dam, and jointly owned by the towns of Groton and Shirley
